“Ranma 1/2″ get live-action drama

It’s just been revealed that popular manga series “Ranma 1/2” will get live-action drama adaptation starring actress Aragaki Yui!

“Ranma 1/2″ was created by Takahashi Rumiko and ran from 1987 to 1996 through ‘Weekly Shonen Sunday’. It tells the story about a young boy named ‘Saotome Ranma’ who transforms into a girl when he gets splashed with cold water.

Aragaki will play ‘Tendo Akane’, a strong-minded high school girl with fierce martial arts abilities, which she occasionally uses on her fiancee, Ranma. She will be playing opposite to Kaku Kento andNatsuna, who will both portray ‘Saotome Ranma’. As for the characters, Hasegawa Kyoko will play Akane’s older sister, ‘Tendo Kasumi’, and Namase Katsuhisa will appear as Akane’s father, ‘Tendo Soun’. Meanwhile, Akane’s first love ‘Ono Tofu’ will be portrayed by Tanihara Shosuke, and Furuta Arata will play the role of Ranma’s father, ‘Saotome Genma’.

Aragaki commented, “I’ve dreamed about jumping into the ‘Ranma 1/2′ world when I was small, that’s how much I loved the manga. I’m surprised that I’m able to do so after all these years. Although I’m truly happy about it, I’m truthfully scared at the same time because it seems very difficult to make it into a live-action show. I will aim to make this drama satisfying for the fans of the manga, including myself. I also hope that I will be able to enjoy acting. I will do my best.”

In this special drama, the plot will exhibit elements from the original storyline, such as Akane’s discord with her father when he suddenly determines Ranma to be her fiancee, as well as Ranma’s various scuffles with enemies during his mission to find the hot spring that will cure his condition.

This live-action adaptation of “Ranma 1/2″ will be aired on NTV in December as a 2-hour special drama.

Stay tuned for more info on this exciting drama!

Japanese Ver. “You’re Beautiful” Receives Negative Response

It was revealed back in May that TBS would be remaking the popular Korean drama “You’re Beautiful”,Japan version 'Ikemen Desu Ke?" the anticipation was extremely high since the original drama has been receiving much love in Japan. Yet it appears that audience was rather disappointed after the first episode aired on July 15th.

Since the story remains the same, viewers were expecting actors to be as beautiful as the original Korean cast. However, criticism from fans came right after the Japanese cast was revealed. Boy group Kis-My-Ft2’sTamamori plays the role originally portrayed by actor Jang Geun Suk; while Fujigaya and Yaotome play the roles of the rest of the A.N.JELL members. Netizens commented, “They are not beautiful at all”, “Is this the horror version of the drama? Don’t we have any better actors in Japan?”, “We are ruining the Korean one.”

After its pilot episode on July 15th, fans were not only disappointed at the cast, but also with the story and the scenes. It seems like the fans were expecting at least some originality in the Japanese one, but what they saw was exactly the same as the Korean version. Viewers felt the creativity in the remake was lacking.

"You're Beautiful" in Japanese Drama Version " Ikemen Desu Ka?"

"

My Favourite drama 'You're Beautiful' will get had japanese version which will airing in this july with the title "Ikemen desu Ka?'

Yaotome Hikaru will be in a new TV drama. He will star alongside Kis-My-Ft.2‘s Tamamori Yuta and Fujigaya Taisuke and the female lead Takimoto Miori in this korean remake.

The story it revolves around Takimoto who joins the popular boyband A.N.Jell posing as her own twin brother and getting caught up in a “love square” with the other three members (Tamamori, Fujigaya, Yaotome).

The Korean drama aired in 2009 and achieved a somewhat mediocre audience share of 10.1%, which might be because it was up against strong competition or simply because it the actor/actress.

Ikemen desu ne will air from July through September 2011, Fridays at 10pm onTBS.The official website is here, and there’s also an official Twitter account here.

There’s one very interesting tidbit of information about the Korean original, and that’s the fact that because the drama features concert footage in it, A.N.JELL actually performed a mini-concert in front of some 25,000 people. I wonder if something similar is planned for the Japanese version of the drama. Also, I think it would be a great idea to have A.N.Jell actually release a soundtrack CD and go on Music Station and all that, kinda like Lands did for that Bandage movie. However, that’s probably not going to happen as it’s been reported that Kis-My-Ft.2‘s debut song will be featured in the drama, so instead of A.N.Jell it’ll be KMF2 who will release a CD and do all the promotion.

Another updated about "Ikemen Desu Ka"

Twenty-three-year-old Kojima Haruna of the all-female theater and idol group AKB48 was recently cast in the Japanese remake of the popular Korean drama "You Are Beautiful." Kojima is set to take on the role of NANA, a two-faced idol-actress. The outwardly kind but mean-spirited character was named Yoo He Yi in the original version and was played by After School’s UEE.

Kojima joins other previously announced cast members Takimoto Miori, Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta, Fujigaya Taisuke, and Hey!Say!JUMP’s Yaotome Hikaru in the adaptation to be called “Ikemen Desu ka.” “Ikemen Desu ka” will closely follow the story of “You Are Beautiful,” where a female singer masquerades as a young man to join an all-male idol group. The success of the drama spawned widespread popularity for its main cast members, Jang Geun Suk, Park Shin Hye, Jung Yong Hwa (CN Blue) and Lee Hong Ki (FT Island.)

“Ikemen Desu ka” is set to air over TBS, every Friday night at 10 PM in July 2011.

'Newcomer' Detective in town! - Shinzanmono

Currently i'm watching this Jdrama called Shinzanmono. It's been airing in TBS last summer 2010. I like that guy Abe Hiroshi. He really a talented actor and no need to mention he really good looking. With a tall and well build body he really outstanding in this series. Even there is other young and cute actor like Mizobata Junpei and Mukai Osamu, he still outshine them.

Earlier this year, the popular drama series “Shinzanmono” came back with a special episode titled, “Akai Yubi (Shinzanmono) Kaga Kyouichiro Futatabi!”. Abe Hiroshi, who starred in series as “Kaga Kyoichiro“, will return for the ninth installment of the series, titled “Kirin no Tsubasa“. The book of the same name was published two month and has sold about 300,000 copies, so success at the box office will be expected.

Returning to the series is Mizobata Junpei as “Matsumiya Shuhei“, police department investigator, and Kuroki Meisa as “Aoyama Ami“, a magazine writer and Kaga’s cousin. Yamazaki Tsutomu, who appeared in “Akai Yubi”, will return as “Kaga Takamasa” (Kyoichiro’s father), and Tanaka Lena is also returning as “Kanamori Tokiko”, his nurse.

Doi Nobuhiro will be directing the movie, which is tentaively titled, “Kirin no Tsubasa: Gekijoban Shinzanmono“. Doi said that the movie is a super mystery, and wants to show people how Dectetive Kaga can help people who have been hurt. He would like to draw the story into the theme of “family bonds”, making the movie a “tear jerker” mystery.
Filming for the movie started this month on May 12th and will finish this summer in July. It is slated for a January 2012 release. It’s also been revealed that royalties from the book will be donated to the disaster areas affected by the earthquake in March.

What the story about?
Police detective Kaga Kyouichirou had been working mostly in Nerima ward, but a transfer to Nihonbashi, Ningyouchou makes him the titularShinzanmono ("Newcomer") in town. And his first big case also concerns a newcomer in Ningyouchou: the murder of Mitsui Mineko, a divorced translator, who was strangled in her own apartment. She had only come to live in Ningyouchou just recently, so who would have any reason to kill her? It is up to Kaga Kyouichirou to investigate what lies behind the Mitsui murder.

You know when in a mystery story everyone seems to have something to hide? And that the detective seems be forced to chase after countless of red herrings before he finally reaches the truth? This series actually turns this idea around and makes it the focus of the story. Every episode focuses on a different suspect who lies to the police. Some might be hiding a terrible family secret. Some might be lying to keep up appearances to their family. Some lie to protect their family. Like Kaga says: people lie to protect themselves, to deceive others or to protect others.

I hope i can finish it soon. Even its only 10 episode but since im busy i need to restrain my time to watch this drama. Care to join me? here is the link Shinzanmono - Drama. Please enjoy....

Welcome to the World of Wine - Kami No Shizuku

Hi everybody i hope you'll enjoyed your day like i do ^_^. Today i want to introduce another J-drama that i watched recently by the way it's because the lead actor is Kamenashi Kazuya. It's been broadcast in 2009 an this series was adaptation from popular manga with the same name 'Kami No Shizuku'. I'm yet to read all chapter of manga but i will read it soon because i think the character of 'Kanzaki Shizuku' really cool (>_<).

This not the best drama from Kamenshi Kazuya, the plot quite interesting but they should make it longer and more detail like the manga. Towards the end of drama become more interesting but they also should put more romantic scene. Since i'm really a big fan of Kamenashi Kazuya so i don't really mind how the story goes ^_^ just enough to see kame handsome face.

But for you i try to find a good preview ......lets rolee

Les Gouttes de Dieu (Kami no Shizuku), lit. The Drops of God) is a popular Japanese manga comics series about wine. It is created and written by Tadashi Agi, a pseudonym employed by creative team of sister and brother Yuko and Shin Kibayashi, with artwork by Shu Okimoto. All the wines that appear in the comic are authentic.

The series was first published in November 2004 in Weekly Morning magazine in Japan, and still runs to date. It is also published in Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Since April 2008, volumes have also been published in France by Glénat. As of December 2007 the series had registered sales of more than 500,000 copies. American publisher Vertical Inc will publish the series under the title "The Drops of God", with the first volume scheduled for a September 2011 release.

A live action television adaptation, also titled Kami no Shizuku, was broadcast by Nippon Television in January 2009.

Kanzaki Shizuku is the son of a recently deceased, world renowned wine critic Kanzaki Yutaka who owns a vast wine collection. In order to take ownership of his legacy, he must find 13 wines, known as the "Twelve Apostles" and the "Les Gouttes de Dieu" that his father described in his will. He has a competitor called Toomine Issei, a renowned young wine critic, who is his father's adopted son.

Shizuku has never drunk, nor had any previous knowledge about wines, but with strong senses of taste and smell, plus knowledge gained from his time with his father and with support from his friends and colleagues like sommelier trainee Shinohara Miyabi, Shizuku submerges himself in the world of wine and tries to solve the mysteries of the 13 wines and defeat Toomine Issei. To win each round of the competition of 13 mystery wines, Shizuku and Issei has to present a correct choice of wine and a valid manifestation of his candidate, which matches with Yutaka's description of the wine in his will. The judge is Yutaka's friend Robert Doi.

It's same like people said 'don't judge the book by it's cover'...so watch and evaluate yourself ^_^ ...below is the link:-

Did u had your own butler? - Mei-chan No Shitsuji

Let me introduce another Japaneses drama that i watched before. I know this series is manga adaptation but i yet to read the manga, so i think maybe i should start with the drama 1st. I 'google' about the drama and find it the manga maybe better than manga (like always). So! okay, when I first read the description I didn’t think much of it…but this show quite ok, first off you have wonderful Hiro to look at, he plays the butler, Rihito and he also played in Tokyo Dogs and Hana Kimi before…anyway i might say he's hot…The leading lady is cute and a bit chubby (for Japanese),…the storyline is easy to understand and interesting enough to keep you watching…It is only 10 episodes and the ending doesn’t leave you hanging but is open enough for a second season…I guess i enjoyed watch this show, you have the typically love triangle/square, there can only be one type of thing that Japanese dramas are known for but overall I don’t think you will be too disappointed when it's not up to your expectation.

This story is about a girl called Mei-chan who’s parents died in a car accident, she thinks she lost everything she had when suddenly she finds out that shes a granddaughter of a rich family and from that day on she will be attending an all girl school in which every single girl has their own butler. Because shes about to inherit her family business she get bullied a lot and gets into lots of trouble but no matter what her butler is always beside her and protects her in every way he can. As the story goes on Mei-chans butler realizes that he has feelings for her and what about Mei-chan? you’ll have to watch it and find out yourself :)

Mei-chan no Shitsuji was awarded two prizes at the 60th Japanese Drama Academy Awards on April 22, 2009 as best drama and best supporting actor for Takeru Satoh.

The story teaches you how loyal the person that loves you can be and that you should never hate people who done bad to you as by hurting others eventually you’ll only hurt yourself. It shows determination and strong will power to change in order to protect others.

I think this is a must watch drama for people who are fans of Absolute boyfriend. Hope this help so enjoy..here is the link for online drama ......
