Glamorous of Love - The One (Manhua/manga)

This manga included in my favorite list. I like the storyline. Also the Twin are gorgeous especially the brother Eros Lanson. Its actually call manhua series its a manga by Taiwan author and publish in taiwan. So instead of manga from Japan, Manhua from taiwan also it had Manhwa from Korean. Here some the summary and review of the series...

The One (獨領風騷) is a currently ongoing manhua being written by Taiwanese author Nicky Lee. Published by Tong Li Comics, it is currently being serialized in Star Girls Magazine.

The Plot of story
Cane Lele was born into the fashion industry. Her mother, Ye Fei Yi, was Taiwan's top model, and her father was also a model, until a tragic airplane crash left Lele without parents. Therefore, it is no surprise that Lele hates the industry, thinking it superficial and unnecessary.
Raised by her maternal grandmother, Lele reaches sixteen before she is sucked in by her mother's sister, Ye Fei Hong, a fashion model agent (and former model), convinces the reluctant Lele to model. Lele had been adverse to the whole idea, until she sees a photo shoot of popular American model Angus Lanson, and she begins to see modeling as an art form.

When Aunt Fei Hong's magazine editor invites Angus Lanson to a meeting of all the top fashion ambassadors, Lele is invited to meet him and is very curious. She does not know that Angus' twin elder brother, Eros Lanson, is secretly accompanying his brother. When Lele is invited to NYC to start off her career as an internationally known model this obviously leads to confusion and is the start of the charming story of Lele's goals: fashion in NYC, becoming a top model, and love?

The Main Charater
Lele Cane: Model, Protagonist of the story, has become very famous in a short amount of time, graduated high school. In the beginning of the story she thought that modeling was superfluous and only for the vain. She gets into modeling because she sees a picture of "Angus" and was inspired by him. She later on develops feelings for Eros and follows him around like a puppy. Lele easily becomes drunk, and is clingy with Eros when she's drunk. When Lele's grandmother died, her aunt blackmailed her into becoming a model again. She briefly thought she was in love with Angus, but recently she realized that she loved Eros, and confesses to him, only to have him say "I know". She is frustrated by this answer and is angry with Eros.

She later does a photoshoot with Angus under the photographer Marshall who also photographed the picture that inspired Lele to join the modeling industry in the first place. During the shoot she is portrayed as Angus's "Angel". The pictures are a success and she is rapidly rising in the modeling world, but Eros has suddenly become colder towards her and she can't figure out why. She is determined to ask him but in the end he forcefully harasses her and tries to rape her. She is saved by Leo and she leaves the party crying. After she gets home she starts reading her mother's journal, but suddenly falls ill due to anemia. Once Young Qui helps her recover and forces her to think about her modeling career instead of Eros she returns to DGM after a few days.

She receives an offer from Glenn Devereaux, a very famous fashion designer in Paris, where she might have to stay for 3–6 months as a minimum or more than a year to train to be the next "Devereaux" girl. She is hesitant to accept the offer. However, when she meets Eros in the street and he remarks that she doesn't look happy that she received the offer. He also remarks that Nick is worried that she will not accept because of Eros to which Eros also says it has nothing to do with him. Lele has had enough and is sick of her heart beating faster for this guy so she tells him off and says that he has nothing to do with it and that she was just "digesting this good news".
When he asks if they can be friends she says they never were and that she will forget about him when she leaves New York. With that she walks away from a stunned Eros. Back at the apartment with Leo, who helps her pack for Paris, she notes that the curtain with the telescope is closed which makes the room dark. She asks Leo when he will let light in and that it is her fault that he is so heartbroken.

Eros Lanson: Elder twin, Fashion Runway Director (silver eyes, silver eyed monster) also called the Silver-Eyed Monster by Lele. He helps her through out her journey in becoming a model. He grows interested in her and later on in the story falls in love with her. He wears one earring saying "Yin" given to him by Lele when she left Japan. He becomes protective of Lele, always bailing her out when she gets into trouble. He becomes jealous when Angus kisses Lele, prompting him to kiss her. Lele manages to trick him into playing her pretend boyfriend so she can get into a role. He is shown to have a dark past. He was raised in an orphanage because his mother could not care for him. His mother committed suicide that seemed to damage him psychologically. He has recently allowed Angus to stay in his apartment for fear that their father will take him back to Sweden and has even cut his hair and gotten green colored contacts to look exactly like Angus. He has become colder to Lele but it is evident to the reader that he actually is trying to protect her. He even hurts his hand against a wall which shows that he is resentful of trying to rape her. However, he still puts on his mean facade.
He gets slapped by Leo when he says he's tired of caring for girls who confess to him. He runs into Lele on the street for the first time after attempting to rape her. He tells her that she shouldn't look so depressed after getting the Glenn Devereaux offer. Nick has gotten mad at Eros by saying he is the reason Lele is hesitant and Eros doesn't think he is. Lele says Eros is right and that it has nothing to do with him and that she will forget him and they will never be friends. Afterwards Eros is seen on the boardwalk contemplating what Lele told him thinking this is for the best. He calls Taylor and asks him to hide away Angus and himself from their father by meeting them in LA and then smuggling them off to a pasture. He and Angus escape by flight to Los Angeles where at the last minute Amber, Angus' assistant, has arranged a photoshoot job for him.
Eros remarks that she deserves a raise. While Angus goes off to shoot he realizes that some of his father's minions have followed them there so he arranges something with Taylor that involves them hastening their plan. Eros slips a sedative in Angus' milk which causes Angus to sleep and Eros to take his place in the photoshoot. When he takes a bathroom break, three of his father's goons try to get to him but he quickly knocks them all out. Then he goes out to lunch with his comodel and the rest of the crew where he learns that they were also hired to bring "Angus" back and they beat Eros and bring him back. Eros' father realizes after that it is Eros in Angus' place and makes Eros stay.
Angus Lanson: Younger twin, Model (green eyes, lu yan she lang). He's quite the ladies man. When he first meets Lele he sees her as a shy and often embarrassed person, but he later works with Lele in a photo shoot he becomes intrigued by her spirit and modeling skills. The picture of "Angus" that inspired Lele was actually a picture of his brother, Eros. His father "pimps" his son by forcing him to sleep with Mrs. Mode- whose husband is very influential in the political world. Long is under his father's suffocating control and wishes to escape. However his father promises to go through any length to make sure that Long remains under his control. Recently, after the photoshoot with Lele he meets the father of rival model Will Dowlan, named Ulysses Dowlan, and Dowlan tries to threaten him.
After meeting with Ulysees Dowlan at the party and Eros warning him to stay away from him, Angus has an appointment with Ulysees who tells Angus he loves him. Angus is not convinced and thinks that all liars should go die. Angus hears of the plan from Eros about meeting Taylor in LA and appears to be stunned. He escapes to Los Angeles and remarks that he feels free breather in the Los Angeles air. He partakes in a photoshoot organized last minute by Amber. He is shown a little skeptical at whether or not Eros' plan will work but is reassured by Eros. He does not know that his father's minions are in Los Angeles.
Angus is knocked out by a sedative that Eros puts in his milk so Eros can take Angus' place in the photoshoot. He later wakes up in Taylor's car with his hands tied where he realizes his brother is not there and Taylor is taking him away.

The Plot Of the Drama
Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of being attacked by a vampire and saved by Kaname Kuran, a pureblood vampire for whom Yuki tries to deal with her seemingly unobtainable love for her hero. Ten years later, Yuki, along with her childhood friend, Zero Kiryuu are school guardians (prefects) at Cross Academy where her adoptive father, Kaien Cross is the headmaster. Their jobs as guardians is to protect the human "Day Class" students from the vampire "Night Class" students and ensure that the human students do not discover that the secret of the Night Class. The story follows Yuki's discovery that Zero had been turned into a vampire and her struggle to keep him sane, to prevent his condition from deteriorating into an insane Level E vampire.

Yuki attempts to give up her humanity and be turned into a vampire by Shizuka Hio, Zero’s family's murderer and his master, in a bargain for Zero's sanity. Zero stops Yuki, preferring to kill Shizuka. Neither occurs when Zero's assumed dead twin shows up, and Kaname kills Shizuka and drinks her blood. Zero’s grip on sanity slides and Yuki continues to help Zero fight his bloodlust while also seeking to recover her lost childhood memories suspecting Kaname knows more than he lets on. Kaname instead gives Zero his own "pure" blood to help keep Zero from going insane.

Seeing the threat of his uncle, Rido Kuran, Kaname bites Yuki and awakens her true nature as a pureblood vampire; the Pure blood Princess of the Kuran family, who had been transformed into a human ten years earlier and the sister of Kaname Kuran, to whom she had pledged to marry as a child. However, Kaname reveals to Takuma Ichijo that he is one of the original vampires and the founder of the Kuran clan, who, born thousands of years earlier, had retired to an endless slumber, but was resurrected by Rido Kuran who desired to consume him to become more powerful.
Kaname was instead raised by Yuki's parents, Juri and Haruka Kuran. Rido tries to kill Yuki and consume her power, but is killed by the now estranged Zero and Yuki. Meanwhile, Kaname kills Rido’s allies, the members of the vampire senate who intended to destroy the night class and their hopes for peace. After the fierce battle, Zero tells Yuki that he intends to end everything, by killing all purebloods. After telling her that she should go be with the man (Kaname) who can spend eternity with her, he tells her that he'll kill her next time he sees her. Yuki in return tells Zero that she will keep running from him to give him a reason to live. Yuki leaves with Kaname and they return to the family home to hide.

The story then leaps forward a year to find Yuuki suffering from bloodlust and refusing to use her fangs. Kaname has restored the leadership of the vampires, taking his place as head. Zero has been attending school by day and hunting vampires at night. Yuki confesses to Kaname that she has an attachment to Zero and his acceptance allows her to succumb to her hunger and use her fangs. After a meeting between hunters and vampires to reaffirm their treaty, all three attend a vampire ball. After a brief tense meeting between Yuuki and Zero, a murder of a pureblood and a hunter at the ball breaks up the party. Although another pureblood, Sara Shirabuki,is revealed to be the culprit, it is passed off as a tragic suicide.
Yuki decides to offer her services as a grim reaper to purebloods wishing to die to prevent unnecessary sacrifices. However after an unprovoked attack by a pureblood, Touma, she is saved by Zero’s arrival. Their meeting is brief as after she awakens, she flees back to her home leaving Aido with Zero. Rido’s spectre is shown to persist despite death and now haunts Kaname, who after the attack on Yuki finally reveals his past and true identity to her through the memories in his blood. Zero meanwhile, takes Aido in for questioning to find out why Kaname is allowing Sara to turn human school girls into an army of vampires.

Main Character
Yuuki Cross

The adoptive daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, Yuuki is a member of the school's disciplinary committee (public morals committee in Japanese), which is the 'front' for the Guardians. Ten years prior to the events of "Vampire Knight," Yuuki was attacked by a vampire, but was rescued by Kaname. She has lost all memory of her life before the attack, and Headmaster Cross took her in as his own daughter. Yuuki loves Kaname, and even though she has witnessed his vampiric nature when he bit Ruka, she still couldn't stop loving him. However, she has also started to let Zero, a childhood friend, drink her blood, hoping to save him from madness. Yuuki is cheerful and easygoing, and thanks to her work as a Guardian she is good at keeping her cool in sticky situations. There have been hints that she is special, given that vampires are especially drawn to her blood. Her weapon of choice is the "Artemis Rod," an extensible staff she received from Headmaster Cross.

Zero Kiryuu

Yuuki's childhood friend, Zero is also a Guardian and likewise on the disciplinary committee. Yuuki has been taking care of him as her little brother since he was brought into their home (the Headmaster's). His family, a line of vampire hunters, was murdered by the pure blood vampire Shizuka Hio when he was young. He harbors a deep hatred for vampires and claims to have taken on the role of Guardian to learn to hunt them better. In truth, Zero was bitten during the attack on his family, and have kept the secret that he was a vampire from Yuuki until he was no longer capable of controlling his vampiric urges.

Zero's body rejects the blood tablets that most vampires take to control their hunger. Drinking Yuuki's blood helps him maintain his sanity, but he is destined to become a Level E vampire eventually. He has started to accept his feelings towards Yuki and has gone as far as to almost kiss her. Zero's weapon is the gun "Bloody Rose," given to him by Headmaster Cross. He made Yuuki promise that if he becomes a Level E vampire, she will kill him with that gun.

Kaname Kuran

A pure blood vampire. He saved Yuuki from an attack by another vampire when she was little. Kaname is the class president of the Night Class, much feared and respected by the other Night Class students. While he is cold and authoritative towards his fellows in the Night Class, he is always kind and sweet to Yuuki. He has shown that he cares deeply for Yuuki ever since he saved her, and loves her in a romantic sense.
As a Pureblood, Kaname is capable of controlling lesser vampires, but he chooses not to exercise his powers, thus earning the respect of the Noble vampires. He shares the Chairman's hopes for peace between vampires and humans. He worked with the Chairman to create the Night Class at Cross Academy and with his presence, allows the Night Class to be kept in check. But the real reason Kaname agreed to attend the academy is so that he can be near Yuuki and protect her as she is his love.

I really like Zero. His cool and handsome. Hot and extra hot. ^_^. So who want to read the manga can surf Here and for those wish to see the anime can click Here enjoyssss ....>_<

Precious High School Life - Yankee Kun To Megane Chan

This manga i read several month ago. an ongoing series up till 114 chapter. I really like the character of 'Shinagawa Daichi' his really a cool dude. Even his a deliquent but he really had a good and kind heart. For hana Adachi she sometime quite annoying but she really a persistence girl. Its hilarious in the couple 1st chapter that when she trying to persued shinagawa to be her friends or comrade in other way.

Flunk Punk Rumble, known in Japan as Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (ヤンキー君とメガネちゃん, Yankī-kun to Megane-chan) is an ongoing manga series written and illustrated by Miki Yoshikawa. The series began as a three-part short story that was later developed into a full series and serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine starting October 18, 2006. It is being collected in tankōbon volumes by Kodansha, who has released nineteen volumes and an official guidebook as of June 17, 2010. Reviews of the series have been very positive. The series has been licensed in Chinese and English by the Singaporean publishing company Chuang Yi under the title Flunk Punk Rumble. As of February 24, 2010, they have released nine volumes in Chinese and three in English.
The plot of story

Daichi Shinagawa was just a Yankee (Japanese term for delinquent) who wanted nothing to do with his high school life. Hana Adachi, the dedicated class representative, however would not allow it and constantly

bothers him to be involved in school life. Shinagawa is first confused on why does she keep pestering him until he discovers her secret. While she may look like a typical class representative stereotype.

Adachi is actually not very smart and lacks common sense, and Shinagawa eventually learns that Adachi is a former delinquent. Regretting being a yankee during her middle

school years, Adachi decides to change her ways to achieve her dream of becoming the best class representative. She decides to help Shinagawa so he will not continue to make the same mistake that she did. Thus begins the adventures of these two unlikely friends and their classmates.
They even going to be a body of Student council. They face all the problem together and their friendship become stronger with each other.

The main character

Shinagawa is a short-tempered delinquent who does not like to be bothered and has no plans for his high school life until he meets Adachi. At first he is constantly annoyed about her repeated attempts at making him come on a school field trip until he learns about her past and her resolution to become a class representative.

He changes drastically throughout the series, from major things such as becoming Co Vice President of his class, to small things such as not smoking and avoiding class in his bathroom stall. He is also an honorable person who will try everything to protect others. His best subject is math.

He has a love-hate relationship with Hana Adachi, liking her due to her nature to help others no matter what, but becoming annoyed with her due to her idiocy, lack of common sense, and forcing him to help with her bizarre plans and antics. He suspects that she is constantly with him because she likes him, but whenever he asks her about it, she ignores the question or acts ignorant on the subject.
Adachi is the class representative, and later, the student council president, who always hangs out with the delinquent Shinagawa. While she may appear to be the dutiful, respectful, and bespectacled class representative, there is more to her then meets the eye. In reality, she is a poor student, not very smart, absent-minded, oblivious and clueless in present situations, lacks common sense, and actually has great eyesight (her glasses do not provide any eye correction).

She always forgets things easily like who's she's met before and stuff. Her strength and fighting skills left over from being a former delinquent overshadow these aspects. She lives with her weird grandmother.

Her past is a mystery, other than that she was fearsome delinquent in middle school. Even the mention of her name was enough to inspire fear in anyone. She is even able to influence a group of Yakuza gangsters to release Shinagawa and Nerima. She enjoys blaming Shinagawa for everything.
Beside of manga the series has been put in live action. Drama with the sames title has been airing April 23rd 2010 for a total 10 episode.

But this drama is too short. Also i think the lead actor and actrees look to old to be a high school student.

For those want to read this manga can go to this PAGE or for those that want to watch de action live drama can watch HERE. Hope you'll will enjoy this series like i am. "Bon apetite' ^_^
