“SM Town Live in Paris” press conference

On June 10th, the idols of SM Entertainment held a press conference right after their “SM Town Live in Paris” concert and expressed their thoughts on completing their first European concert.
Super Junior’s Leeteuk began, “It feels like just yesterday that I was listening to Jordy Lemoine and feeling entranced by his music, but now here I am exporting our own culture. I hope to write an amazing piece of history.”
TVXQ’s Yunho continued, “After seeing everyone shout ‘SM Town’, I realized that this was the flare of K-Pop culture. I’m glad that we’re able to kick it off to a great start. It still makes my heart beat.”
SNSD’s Sooyoung added, “I almost cried when I saw that fans had written ‘Thank you’ on the Korean flag. I was surprised to see them singing along to our songs, but what surprised me the most was that they even knew the cheer chants used by our Korean fans.”
f(x)’s Victoria said, “I was so proud to see everyone in the audience waving their own country’s flag.”
When asked why he thought K-Pop was so popular, Leeteuk replied, “SM has always worked to globalize our music, such as working with foreign choreographers and whatnot. I think we’re also loved for our physical and visual aspects as well. There’s a saying in Korea that the start is just half of the work, so I’m anticipating the future of Hallyu. If France wants me, I’m even willing to move here.”

Fans in France go wild for SMTOWN Live in Paris

On June 9th, a new episode of SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment” revealed the power of the increasingly global Hallyu wave that has been sweeping Europe.

K-pop has been making a large presence in France this year: on April 20th, around fifty fans from France visited Korea for SHINee’s fan meeting, confirming the group’s global popularity. Furthermore, SMTOWN Live, the first international idol group collaboration concerttook place in Paris today.

When the news was revealed earlier this year, European fans went wild, with tickets selling out in a mere 15 minutes. The reactions to the announcement were explosive as interviewed fans commented, “I’m so happy! K-pop is finally here in France!“, “I am so going to get 2 tickets. I’ll die if I don’t get them”, and “It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait for it“.

“Midnight TV Entertainment” also revealed footage of a demonstration by approximately 300 fans that took place in front of the Louvre. These fans, who weren’t able to purchase tickets, performed dances from Super Junior’s “Sorry, Sorry” to TVXQ’s “Mirotic“, demonstrating the popularity of Korean idols in Europe. In response to the demand of fans in Europe and at this demonstration, a second tour date was announced soon thereafter.

The episode also reveals footage of TVXQ, SNSD, SHINee and f(x) leaving for Paris.

"I bear this mark" Stigma of the Wind - Kaze No Stigma

"Eyes as blue as the azure sky... that is the symbol of the Contractor, entrusted by the Spirit King of the Wind by the powers of his domain. I bear this mark: the Stigma of the Wind." I like the opening show of this anime.

Is a fun anime if you're interested into this genre. Battles, magic, comedy, kick-ass moments, Kaze no stigma has it all. A somewhat decent Action, Romance with demons and the 4 elements. This anime is enjoyable to watch but it really lacks originality. ^_^

From the very first episode, the story is really easy to understand because there is nothing all that new about the premise. It is just the typical story of a boy and girl that team up to defeat the bad guys that randomly show up. From here it continues with the random mini adventures and it doesn’t really try to do anything special about it, so hardcore anime fans will feel like they have seen it all before. You may begin to wonder why you should even continue watching this anime if it is just like this however the story does kick off, in the latter half of the series. Even the pointless episodes are really fun to watch but what’s better are the little developments in some characters, though the ending is somewhat predictable.

For the characters we have Kazuma Yagami, a sort of anti-hero who became incredibly strong after being disowned by his dad. He is probably the most interesting character in the series; because he is a very understandable, with a distinguished personality that is brought out by the superb voice acting. And this cannot be an action romance anime without the typical "Tsundere", Ayano Kannagi. There are more characters but they are really insignificant that they can be easily overlooked.

Let's see some preview and synopsis of this series

Kaze no Stigma (Stigma of the Wind) or Kaze no Seikon is a Japanese light novel series written by Takahiro Yamato and illustrated by Hanamaru Nanto. After the death of the author on July 20, 2009, the story remains incomplete at eleven volumes. An anime television series adaptation directed by Junichi Sakata and animated by Gonzo began airing on April 11, 2007.

Kazuma Kannagi was considered useless within his family because he could not use "Enjutsu" (Blaze Technique), the power to control flames. When he was defeated by Ayano Kannagi, one of his very distant relatives, in a bout to decide who would wield "Enraiha" (Blaze Lightning Supremacy), a sword that was wielded by the family heir, he was banished from the family. Four years later, he returns as a master of "Fūjutsu" (Wind Technique), the power to control wind, and with a new name: Kazuma Yagami. Soon after his return, he is reunited with Ayano and his younger brother, Ren, who is also gifted in Enjutsu. Soon, however, Kannagi family members are killed and the murder weapon is revealed to be Fūjutsu. Now Kazuma has to fight his family to prove that he is not the murderer.

Main Character

Kazuma Yagami (Yagami Kazuma)
Voiced by: Daisuke Ono (Japanese), Robert McCollum (English)Kazuma is a former member of the Kannagi household. He was banished from the family by his father after being defeated by Ayano during the successor ceremony for "Enraiha", his family's sacred sword, due to his inability to use Enjutsu. In the light novel it is mentioned that Kazuma was found to have great potential in all other jutsu. Four years later, at the age of twenty two, he returns to Japan as a skilled master of Fūjutsu. As a "Fūjutsushi" (Wind Technique Practitioner), Kazuma's powers are extensive. Apart from being able to fly even while holding three people, Kazuma can launch blasts of wind that act as blades, and manipulate wind spirits to create a barrier, protecting his body from physical harm or reflecting light in order to camouflage himself. It has also become apparent that he possibly has the ability to manipulate electricity (shown during episode 23 just before Ayano brings him back to his normal self using the crimson flame.)Kazuma is also a Contractor, having entered into a contract with the "Kaze no Seirei-Ō" (Wind Spirit King). Thanks to that, Kazuma is able to draw upon all wind spirits in the atmosphere, which can amplify his powers, and allow him to heal his wounds. When using that power, his eyes turn azure blue. However, this ability puts a strain on his body. Also, when Kazuma is extremely angered, his eyes turn crimson red and his wind turns black and he is seen using mind reading powers. In this state, he has no qualms in hurting others with his abilities, as long as he gets what he wants. However, when in this state, his overall powers seem to be weaker because as stated by Ayano he is drawing only on a few emotions and is not in complete control of his powers. When Ayano helps him snap out of his rage, he states that his black wind is pathetic. At one point Ayano states that she was never afraid of him in his normal state, as he is so strong, her fear seems pointless. When she realizes that she fears his black wind, she knows she has a chance of defeating him, because that fear means that his power is no longer 'godlike.'It is later revealed that after Kazuma was banished from his family, his only desire became achieving great power. He traveled to a small town in China, where he caused all kinds of trouble. That is until he met Tsui Ling, whom he fell in love with and eventually lived with. Kazuma no longer desired power and along with working part-time at a restaurant with her. He also took up a job as a freelancer, doing simple odd jobs. His happiness, however, came to an abrupt end when an organization used Tsui Ling as a sacrifice to summon a powerful demon. Blaming himself for failing to protect her, Kazuma once again sought out great power, thus his making a contract with the Wind Spirit Lord. Some time after becoming a Contractor, he killed the one responsible for Tsui Ling's death. Later, two years prior to the series' beginning, Kazuma made a name for himself as the demon-like wind mage, who did not hesitate to hurt others as long as his task was completed. However, his personality began to turn for the good once again after returning to Japan and meeting Ayano. Admitting near the end of the anime that he could now love another person besides Tsui Ling and he comes to realize that he is actually in love with Ayano. In the light novel, it is revealed that shortly after Tsui Ling's death, Kazuma attempted to commit suicide, but was saved at the last moment by a traveling Taoist sennin. The immortal felt potential within Kazuma and brought Kazuma to his mountain where Kazuma spent the next year and a half in training. Li Lonyue, another one of the Taoist's disciples, believed that Kazuma can become an immortal like them with more training. However, Kazuma refused the offer, as he found immortality to be pointless and boring, instead opting to leave the mountain when he felt ready to carry out his vengeance.

Ayano Kannagi (Kannagi Ayano)
Voiced by: Ayumi Fujimura (Japanese), Cherami Leigh (English)Seventeen-year-old Ayano is a skilled "Enjutsushi" (Blaze Technique Master) and the successor to the Kannagi family's head. She is arrogant and impetuous, usually taking action by herself even while going against orders. Though she seems undisciplined, she believes deeply in her heritage, and more than once served as the voice of reason and drawn Kazuma back to action or sanity. Though cocky and thoughtless on the surface, she is self-conscious and sometimes unsure. She looks to others for guidance and simultaneously feels that she should not, responding yearningly to approval and affection. Though she finds his arrogance and teasing abrasive, Ayano develops a crush on him but is easily flustered when he flirts with her, irritated due to his habit of taunting her immediately afterward, and is prone to unjustified indignance when he gets close to another woman. She later comes to realize that she is actually in love with him. Kazuma is also the only person she sees as stronger in power and presence than even her own father.Ayano's power is the Crimson Flame called Kōen, but she is not yet able to consciously control it. She also holds Enraiha, the Kannagi's sacred sword, which she won by defeating Kazuma at the successor ceremony four years before the start of the story. The sword has fire properties and can be summoned by Ayano at any time. During combat, Ayano tends to fight recklessly and normally her anger and pride gets the better of her. Kazuma beats her in almost every encounter and points out the deficiencies in her fighting style. During their penultimate fight, she berates him furiously for falling for tricks that he taught her.

Actually i quite enjoy with this anime since there is many romantic scene between Kazuma and Ayano. Here is the link for the manga/anime:-

Updates: [Summary] episode 3 & 4 - City Hunter

Hey! hey! hey!, we back with summary episode 3 & 4 of our Bad Boy CITY HUNTER. The series become interesting in every new episode. So let see the recap for episode 3 & 4......kyaaaa

EPISODE 3
Episode 3 was mostly fast-paced action and execution, execution, execution! I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. In this episode he executes his plan! He starts a fire in the bathroom. All the people are fleeing and running out.Yoon Sung is now on the move, using a pen to hang on the ledge in order to pass by the security cameras unseen. He goes through the information he needs by taking pictures on his iphone and takes the shreds of paper that Shim Jae Dong (Bad guy in league with Target Number One) was trying to get rid of. Outside Nana is looking for Yoonsung. He taps her on the shoulder and she is angry thinking that he had fled for safety alone.Yoon Sung replies, “Hey I’m a guy and have to keep face, how could I go into the girl’s bathroom?”..hahaha i think it's sweet and funny.

The next scene showed YJ arguing with his supervisor again. YJ's team however receives a package from Yoon Sung, with all of the information that was gathered! (Funny how these two love triangle rivals are working on the same side).Target Number One is defending himself and it appears like the other Assembly members will vote whether he should be arrested or not.Yoon Sung and YJ are watching on as the vote is pretty much a tie. JP was also watching this scene from his mansion, and in anger he breaks a whiskey glass with his bare hands.

Yoon Sung obviously upset, began to think about the poor kids. YJ came out and just stood there staring at Target Number One. While Target Number One gloated and told YJ to find real criminals instead of upstanding citizens such as himself. Target Number One and Shim Jae Dong were talking about Yoon Sung, trying to remember if they had ever met before. Shim Jae Dong remembered Yoon Sung back when they had verbally argued.

There is a lot of romantic scene within Yoon Sung and Nana in this episode till almost the end of the episode it's time for Yoonn Sung to make a move towards target no.1. The celebratory event was held in order to congratulate Target Number One's publishing of a book. Target number one was talking to his grandson to ignore all of the things that people were saying on the news. The grandson was very mean to the other kids. The grandson even called the other kid a beggar! Target Number One was talking to the two children, he was asking about Yoon Sung and his whereabouts. Yoon Sung called in order to have a direct confrontation.Yoon Sung was caught but he began to piss off Target Number One. When asked who he was, he said that he was just a jobless dude who didn't like people that made little children starve. Yoon Sung also accused Targer Number One of being a crook! Target Number One got pissed off and basically began to go on about his crooked political philosophy. He said things on the line of "I should be using tax money in order to improve society because I know what is right" (Classic badguy talk) Yoon Sung's glasses were recording everything!.

Once Target Number One got back on stage, Yoon Sung's recording began to play. Yoon Sung had hacked into Korea's security system somehow and the clip was being played nationally on every computer. (A little farfetched but it was a crazy idea, and I like) The CEO ordered his bodyguard/go-to-guy to either get Target Number One out of the country or even kill him if necessary. While this was going on, Yoon Sung began his grand escape. While fighting through all of the baddies he fights a chef with a spoon! (Jason Bourne Style!).As Yoon Sung sees Target Number One escaping, he uses his bag against flags in order to slide down to the port.

Yoon Sung catches up to Target Number One, and he's about to be killed by the CEO's bodyguard! After he defeats the bodyguard and all of the baddies, he finally is face to face with Target Number One.Target Number One was sent to YJ in a box. Yoon Sung had contacted several news agencies making it known and seen by everyone.Target Number One also had a bunch of military tags around his neck (I guess the dog tags are being used as a kind of signal to bring out the other group of five members).

EPISODE 4
In this episode JP is scolding Yoon Sung. Yoon Sung doesn’t want to be involved with vengeance that calls/draws blood. Yoon Sung states, "If you were my real father, would you have wanted me to partake in this revenge that calls blood?.....
