Live-Action Adaptation Of 'Bleach' Manga In The Works

Tite Kubo's "Bleach" is reportedly being picked up by Warner Brothers for a live-action adaptation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Get Smart" director Peter Segal and his Callahan Filmworks partner Michael Ewing are in talks to produce "Bleach" in conjunction with Viz Media.

While the report notes that Segal is attempting to broaden his portfolio of films by "taking on darker, more action-oriented material", it also specifically states that Segal will not direct the film.

Originally released in Japan back in 2001, "Bleach" follows a fifteen year old boy named Ichigo Kurosaki who accidentally drains the powers of a female Soul Reaper — a Japanese personification of death similar to the Grim Reaper — named Rukia Kuchiki, leaving Rukia stuck in the human world and Ichigo as a guardian against evil spirits on Earth.

"Bleach" has previously been adapted into a long running anime series that is currently in its 14th season.

Earlier this year, Warner Brothers also entered into negotiations with Albert and Allen Hughes ("Book of Eli") to direct an adaptation of Katsuhiro Otomo's legendary Manga series, "Akira."

Live-action adaptations of classic manga series "Vampire Hunter D" and "Ghost In The Shell" are also reportedly in the works.

* I don't really like knowing that Hollywood is the one will bring Ichigo to Live action cause afraid it will turn to be suck like 'Dragon Ball:Revolution'. Appreciated if Japanese itself doing this movie with Japan actor/actress. Please don't spoil bleach fan feeling with an ugly Live movie from Hollywood.

Super Junior Show 3 Concert Ticket finished in 4 hours

After a gap of 364 days, Super Junior will be holding a concert in Malaysia once again, and the fans started another ticket-grabbing fever! 90% of the 9500 which the organiser had allocated as sold within a short span of 4 hours, and it is believed that during the period of the pre-sale (until 10PM on February 19), all the tickets will be completely sold out! Even so, the organisers have reiterated that they will not seek extra sessions!

Almost 2000 fans who came from far and near were already cramming into the Sungei Wang Plaza’s 6th floor on Saturday morning, in order to purchase the tickets for the Super Junior 《Super Show 3 in Malaysia》! When some of the Malay fans knew that they managed to grab tickets for the first row, they immediately burst into tears at the scene!

Although the ticketing session was originally set to begin at 10am, but because of the amazing situation under the presence of Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai and Singaporean fan groups, the time for the ticketing sales was brought forward to 9.45am. Among them, the most expensive tickets which costs RM486 was selling out at the fastest rate, and 1400 tickets were already sold within the first hour for the whole venue.

Although the online ticketing was set to begin on the 20th, but from the 18th, there were already some people selling scalped tickets for the VIP area on the internet, inviting heated discussion. The organisers immediately stood out and clarified that the VIP tickets are strictly not for sell. Apart from that, the tickets for the VIP area will only be released after the Korean officials (for the concert) verifies the namelist. The SS3 concert in Malaysia’s production fees is up to more than RM 3 million, and would have a four-sided stage just like in Korea.In order to grab tickets, fans brought food along and didn’t dare to use the toilets

Although the organisers were concerned about the fans’ safety on Facebook, and “disallowed” them from queuing overnight, but in order to grab the tickets for the best seats, the fans still came up with various ways.

It is understood that the hotels which were close to the Sungei Wang Plaza was already fully-booked by the overseas fans and also fans from other locations (in Malaysia), and quite a number of fans have been queuing up since 10am on Friday, but because they were driven off (by the security personnel) they were forced to loiter around the shopping complex. Since the 6th floor of the Sungai Wang Plaza would only be opened at 8am today (Saturday), a lot of fans who could not wait to get their tickets have already begun to loiter around the complex since yestereday night, and for the sake of queuing up, they even bought solid food along and didn’t dare to use the toilets. There are about 50 fans who indulged in an overnight karaoke session until 4am, then hid themselves within the shopping complex’s fire escape routes to avoid being chased out by the security personnel, all in order to “book” their places first at the main sales area on the 6th floor to grab their tickets.

However, before the fans fell into line, it could be said that the 6th floor was completely filled to the brim, eliciting complaints from the shopkeepers around, as they couldn’t even open up their shops to start off with their business. Nonetheless, under the instructions of more than 50 staff members and security personnel, the crowd was finally separated into two lines. Not only did they fill up the whole 6th floor of the shopping complex (up until the elevator doors), but the stairs next to GreenBox* was also full with people who were queuing up.

SUPER JUNIOR, Girls' Generation and 2PM in the list "Top 40 power Celebrity" by Forbes Korea

Forbes Korea ranked the top 40 celebrities in Korea. They first gathered a list of the most-searched celebrities from portal sites, then trimmed the list by keeping the top 100 that had appeared on many variety shows, dramas, movies or was active in sports.

Then they examined how much each celebrity earned with one filming of a CF or a drama episode. Then an examination of how frequently they appeared on music videos and on the first page of various magazines and took over one whole page of a printed newspaper.

The number of appearances on variety shows were taken into consideration, as well as the rankings on Hanteo chart for singers. MCs were checked for how many shows they MCed and how frequently the shows aired, and drama and movie actors were checked for the popularity of the work and how much they were paid for it.

Girls' Generation (SNSD) was lead the list followed by Park Jisung the soccer player that played for Manchester United Club. Singer & actor Lee Seunggi (Lead actor in My girlfriend is Gumiho) listed for no. 4, 2PM in rank 5, Bi Rain in no 13 and SUPER JUNIOR was rank in no 16. Other celebrity in the list are won bin, Hyun Bin, Kang Hodong, BEAST, 2NE1 and Lee Min Ho.

SUPER JUNIOR M new MV Release - Too Perfect

Packed with brand new Super Junior M, added with two members Sungmin and Eunhyuk, catchy upbeat music, and quick dance moves "PERFECTION (Tai Wan Mei)" is a new song's from Super Junior M for their Mandarin fan.

As you may notice the song is not in Korean but the whole song is in Chinese with some English parts. SM Entertainment is working hard to expand into the international markets and is focused on the Chinese music industry with this third Super Junior sub group. Super Junior-M is actually comprised of members with both Korean and Chinese descent.

SUPER SHOW 3 by SUPER JUNIOR in MALAYSIA

(Kuala Lumpur) “Super Junior Show 3” (SS3) is really faced with many problems, after going through the change of concert organiser and then change of date, it now encounters the clash of event venue with ”MY ASTRO Billboard Award Ceremony”! So on March 19, who will be able to successfully take the stage at Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium?

According to the reporter’s query, “SS3” organiser has already made reservation for the venue on March 19 and at the same time paid half of the venue rental. However, MY FM and ASTRO have held their press conference on the 5th of January announcing that <> will take place in the same venue leading to the clash.

Because the “SS3” head of organisers RITS did not pick up the phone, and MY FM’s senior manager Mr Li Zhi Cheng is unable to respond to this incident as he is currently in Taipei, the “319” incident becomes more heated up (intense).

If RITS wins the “319” venue for the concert, “MY” will likely be forced to reschedule to the award ceremony which will be speculated to seriously implicate the work schedule of many overseas artists.

Last year “MY” invited many big names including Eason Chan, Khalil, Kay Tse, and although “MY” has not released the list of attendees, we all know that it is difficult to invite such famous artist, and it is likely that some have been pre-arranged at least 6 months ago, so this “319” incident is likely to affect the schedule of a number of big name singers.

If “MY” takes into the consideration the schedules of these singers, they will have to insist on having the event on March 19. However, there are very limited indoor spaces available. Outdoor venues such as the Merdeka Stadium and the National Stadium would be too big and taking into consideration the weather, the number of venues available is really few.

On the other hand, the popular group Super Junior’s schedule would be difficult to mobilise as well, therefore the organiser, RITS would be facing a similar problem. In any case, hope that both parties will be able to come up with a good solution, after all, the final ones that benefit will be the fans.

It has been said that RITS has been meeting up with a number of media partners, but has yet to announce the ticketing details, causing fans to be concerned, raising their queries on Facebook.

Most of the local fans are nervous about the fare, would like to grab a good seat while overseas fans are concerned about the date of the concert as most have bought their air tickets to fly to Kuala Lumpur when the first concert date (March 26) was announced.

Super Junior’s concert in Malaysia has encountered numerous problems, from last year’s event organiser Redstar Presents withdrawing, to the clash in the event venue, will SJ be able to smoothly have their concert in the Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium?

Which princess? - My Princess

I watched this drama recently, the drama just ended this week with only 16 episode. The actress Kim Tae Hee (KTH) popular with her drama Love story in Havard, IRIS and Stairway to Heaven. She really cute and sweet  pairing with Song Seung Heon (SSH) the actor that steal our heart in drama 'Autumn in My heart' in 2000. After 10 years he comeback with new drama, new look, and new style. He damn gorgeous now not forgot to mention really HOT and SEXY.

So enough with this hot guy lets proceed to our main thing......
This drama is a bit cliche and the plot almost same with 'Princess Hour or Goong'. The only different is this drama a bit mature than Goong. (because of the cast).
After watching the first episode , I have to say that I’m already quite attached to the main characters! Great chemistry, potentially incredible plot, a sweet KTH and Sexy SSH (with a lot scene skin showing in early of the episode ^_^) I think that the characters were created with astounding detail and depth, they are also lovable and relatable.

The preview for the second episode reveals much, much, wanted scenes: intimacy between the leads, lot of dramatic scenes about each lead’s history, suspenseful glimpses of the main heroine’s about-to-be amazing future and many more! But the plot is also quite predictable, although that is usually the case in the beginning of most dramas.

Lil' bit about the story....


Lee-Sul (Kim Tae-Hee) is a woman who enters college later than other girls. Like her peers, they dream of one day becoming a princess, but for Lee-Sul she actually becomes a real life princess ...

Hae-Young (Song Seung-Heon) is a 31-year-old diplomat. He is the sole successor of the Daehan Jonghap Group (the largest conglomerate in Korea). Hae-Young is also handsome and graduated from an Ivy League school. Agreeing to his grandfather`s creed, Park Hae-Young decides to give up his rights to the company and all of his assets. This is all for a young woman named Lee-Sul.

Lee-Sul is a 25-year-old college student, majoring in Art History. She doesn't think about the secrets surrounding her birth or her stepsister who teased her behind her back. Lee-Sul keeps a shabby appearance and works several part time jobs on top of her college career. She also has a crush on her professor Nam Jung-Woo (Ryu Su-Yeong). One day, Lee-Sul becomes a princess overnight. In order to make her a princess, the President of the Daehan Jonghap Group offers all of his assets. 50,000,000 people stamp their approvals for her and royal families from all over the world sends congratulatory telegrams. Lee-Sul accepts the role of Princess, but she is now locked up in her palace and forced to study from dawn to late at night. Even worse, Park Hae-Young is her only instructor and he is snooty.

Falling in love with own sister! - Devil Beside You

When i read Lovey Dovey manga, it's remind me with this Taiwanese Drama back in 2005. I love this T-Drama, Mike He so handsome and cool. I know Rainie Yang from 'Meteor Garden' as a best friend to San Chai. Actually the character between Lovey Dovey Manga & Devil beside you is almost the same in someway.

Actually this drama is base from Manga series Akuma de Sourou (The Devil Does Exist). I just read the manga recently it's awesome. It published in 1999 with 41 chapter and the drama come with 20 episode. But the reception in ASIAN towards this drama is not as huge as 'Meteor garden' franchise. Me too watched this drama a year after the broadcast when 'Meteor Garden' gave a huge impact for Taiwanese drama in Asia.
Is simple, romantic, heart warming and lot of lovely scene. The character of 'Ahmon/Ah Meng' that attract me with this drama (not to mention Mike He so COOL).

STORY:

The story begins with Qi Yue planning to confess her liking to the basketball team captain, Yuan Yi. She wrote a love letter and plans to pass it to him. Being as careless as only she can be, she has made her confession to the wrong person, who happened to be the school's devil, Ah Meng (her junior, a first year student in school). She is so shocked and embarrassed to see Ah Meng's face that she drops her love letter in front of Ah Meng and runs away. Ah Meng picks up the letter.

Ah Meng is amused by the whole thing and decides to have some fun with Qi Yue. He threatens Qi Yue to print a thousand copies of her love letter and let the whole school know of her liking for Yuan Yi. In order to stop Ah Meng, Qi Yue agrees to be his 'runner'.

With Ah Meng's continuous bullying of Qi Yue, she is driven to stop all the nonsense by confessing her liking to Yuan Yi again. In this way, she will not be afraid of Ah Meng's disclosing the love letter anymore. To Qi Yue's surprise, Yuan Yi has a similar liking for her.

While Qi Yue assumes that the whole ordeal with the devil is going to end, she receives another piece of bad news - her mom is going to marry the school's chairman who is also Ah Meng's father, which means Ah Meng is going to be her stepbrother.

Qi Yue's love letter is being put up on the school notice board and she misunderstands that it is Ah Meng who did it. She confronts him and storms off. After realizing that she has misunderstood Ah Meng, she apologises to Ah Meng and pleads him to hit her so that she feels better - Ah Meng kisses her instead. Yuan Yi happens to see them kissing and confronts their relationship, Ah Meng yells at Yuan Yi, saying that he wants Qi Yue. After Yuan Yi runs away in anger, Qi Yue looks at Ah Meng and begins to sob. After Qi Yue walks away in tears, Ah Meng has a strong feeling of guilt.

Yuan Yi regrets not believing in Qi Yue and returns to her, asking her out on a date. Qi Yue agrees happily. On their first date, they met Ah Meng again. Qi Yue and Ah Meng have some misunderstandings and they went separate ways.

Qi Yue finally realizes that the person she likes is Ah Meng. She tells Yuan Yi the truth and walks away. In the evening, she sits alone at the playground, crying softly to herself for hurting Yuan Yi. Ah Meng finds her and comforts her.

Due to their relationship as future stepsiblings, they keep their romantic relationship in the dark. Except for some close friends of Ah Meng & Qi Yue, nobody knows of their relationship.

Ah Meng's grandmother suspects that Ah Meng and Qi Yue are seeing each other. She plans to matchmake Ah Meng with a rich girl, Mei Di, which Qi Yue feels sad and uncertain. At the same time, Qi Yue's first love reappears as her school lecturer (Ah Sen). This causes Ah Meng to be jealous and he feels insecure. Ah Meng rejects Mei Di and she left wishing Qi Yue and him happiness. Similarly, Qi Yue tells Ah Sen that she likes Ah Meng and he goes back to his girlfriend.

Following that adventure, Ah Meng and Qi Yue take advantage of their parents' out of town trip to travel to see Qi Yue's father's grave. They get caught in a rain storm and discover that the train is not running. Ah Meng gets a hotel room, but Qi Yue can't stand the tension and makes the trip back home to find her mother waiting for her. She finally confesses that she and Ah Meng are a couple. Since this is going to be a problem for the family, her mother decides that they will have to move out of the house. However, when she faints, they find out that she's pregnant. Though it isn't proper, they decide that they will support Ah Meng and Qi Yue's relationship, and continue their own.

While things seem to be going fine again, Ah Meng's mom comes back and wants Ah Meng to go to Italy with her to pursue his studies. When Ah Meng finally agrees to go with her, Qi Yue is heartbroken. At the playground, Ah Meng tells Qi Yue that she can continue to date other people while he is away but he will always like her only. They embrace. Together, they decided it was time to have their "first time" together. They attend their parents' wedding a few days afterwards.......

Main Character:

• Qi Yue: Qi Yue is a sweet and innocent sophomore in college who lives with her widowed mother. She is very shy and sometimes clueless, but has a loyal and kind heart that shines even through the toughest of times.
