The cast for the upcoming drama adaptation of the manga “Ouran High School Host Club” has been confirmed!
As we previously reported, the leads are Yamamoto Yusuke as the host club president Tamaki Suo, and Kawaguchi Haruna as ‘Fujioka Haruhi’. Nakamura Masaya – who recently made headlines when he and new wife Yaguchi Mari announced their marriage earlier this week – will also be making an appearance as the third-year student ‘Morinozuka “Mori” Takashi’.
Other characters include Daitou Shunsuke as Ootari Kyoya, Takagi Shinpei and Takagi Manpei as the Hitachiin twins, Chiba Yudai as Haninozuka “Honey” Mitsukuni, and Ryuusei Ryou as Nekozawa Umehito.
“Since everyone is handsome, I tried my best too,” said Yamamoto about his latest role. “Kawaguchi-san disguising herself as a boy is one thing for you all to look forward to.” Ryuusei chimed in enthusiastically, “I want to do the best I can to make a drama that won’t betray the fans (of the original manga).”
