He is "The Sweeper" - City Hunter

It's been a while since my last post about any K-drama, J-drama or manga/anime. My life a bit messy with a new arrangement in my work so i need sometime to adapt a new lifestyle. So since it's a day off because yesterday is "Labor day" i manage to find a time to send a new post about an Upcoming K-drama this May.

The title is "City Hunter" is a Korean drama based on the manga (with the same name) byTsukasa Hojo. It was published by Shueisha in the Weekly Shonen Jump from 1985 to 1991. The live rendition of Siti Hyunteo (Korean romanization of the title) will be aired in SBS. "According to news reports, 'City Hunter' will be aired on SBS on May 25, 2011. "The City Hunter franchise spans four animated television series, three television specials, two original video animations, an animated feature film and a live-action Hong Kong film starring Jackie Chan. In 2001, Tsukasa Hojo started the Angel Heart, a City Hunter spin-off.

Actually there is also a rumor that this series will be adapted to Hollywood and 'Jung woo Sung" will be the main cast together with other Hollywood actor/actress. But the source can't be confirmed yet. So lets wait and see.

A very good news for all the fans of Lee Min Ho (including myself ^_^) for he will be the main lead and will perform the role of Lee Yung Jong - the sexy playboy who's full of charisma but doesn't know what to do in the presence of the women. One catch is that this playboy is blessed with skills in solving mysteries.

Because of this live action drama i'm starting to read the manga and watch the anime. In the manga/anime the main character "Ryo Saeba" portrayed as a womanizer and perverted man. The manga/anime were consider as inappropriate series. But i like the series it's quite fun try to catch my time to read and watch all the chapter and series before the live action on air. The only thing i know the live action will not the same like manga/anime since the main lead will act as a bodyguard to the President, but in manga/anime he is the private detective or called 'Sweeper' who work to rid Tokyo of crime. Their "City Hunter" business is an underground jack-of-all-trades operation, contacted by writing the letters "XYZ" on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station.

I am really looking forward to this Korean drama...since the character of lee min ho require him to look really manly, handsome and gentlemen (argh he got it all). He must be really awesome cool and SexyHot in this drama.
